  • By using Klink (“Service”), you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Use").

    1. You may not use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

    2. You must not modify, adapt or hack the Service.

    3. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service without the express written permission by the Service.

    4. You expressly understand and agree that Klink, nor its developers, shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages.

Privacy Policy

  • We value your privacy at Klink and therefore prioritize the utmost transparency with how exactly your data is being used and collected. Klink is a social app for connecting with your friends thus relying on user interaction. This requires several aspects of user information to be collected for this purpose.

  • Klink gathers information on voluntary user input. The following user information is requested in the app:

    • Email address

    • Phone number

    • First and last name

    • Birthday

    • Profile Picture

  • The above information is first used for authentication purposes. The app requires this so that a user may create an account. The information is also used to define user likeness. Since this app allows users to represent themselves with a profile, the information they provide helps them to find and connect with friends.

  • Birthday is requested for age verification in compliance with COPPA. Those under 13 years of age are not permitted to use the service. Phone number is requested so that users may be properly authenticated and verified before creating an account. These are important requests because they ensure the safety and proper representation of our users.

  • In addition, Klink asks for your permission before contacts usage, photo library additions, and camera usage. Contacts are not stored on the server or saved by any third party. Contacts are imported for users to be able to more quickly find their friends using the app. The utilization of photo library and camera is for the purpose of giving users the ability to send photos or videos over messaging.

  • Klink offers the ability to block or report any user in the app.

  • There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Users that are reported to exhibit this type of behavior will be permanently removed upon review.

  • The information is retained for as long as necessary to provide continued service to the user.

  • A user may delete their account at any time and subsequently, all user data will be removed upon account deletion.

  • Updates to the terms of use and privacy policy may be made at any time. This policy is current as of August 3rd, 2024.
